29/36 'Solution'

a taste of man's desire
sip from a sorrow elixir
igniting fire from ember
the feeling through my veins
dopamine rising like fire flames
a poison overriding my brain

put down my hopeless addiction
loosen the walls and open my lips
embracing the taste of possible affliction

seal the lid like clasping
around the waist
signing consequence's deal

the visual appeal
delicate flesh's feel.
with the toxins it feels surreal.

the moment stamped on rice paper
dilemma arises in the AM
the toxoid's favor faded
leaving behind hopes for kindred desire

perhaps now a bite will ignite
the now enduring ember to a dazzling fire.
evading the need for sorrow's temporary solution.
